Week 1:   Monday, May 30th to Sunday, June 5th, 2022

Landfill open regular hours this week (Tuesday, Thursday to Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Take It or Leave It!

  • Leave reusable items at your curbside for others to take.
  • Items left at curbside after June 5th will be removed during week 2 (similar items must be separated and bundled).

Week 2:   Monday, June 6th to Sunday, June 12th, 2022

Landfill open 7 days during this week (12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Spring Clean-Up

  • Option 1: Deliver items to landfill yourself during this time.
  • Option 2: Leave items at curbside for pick-up.

This option only available from Monday, June 6th until Friday, June 10th, 2022 (you must contact the town hall prior to Friday, June 10th at 807-868-2020 x 0 or the Public Works department at 807-868-2212 to notify of pick-up location).

**No tipping fees will be charged during week 2.

**To help our workers, please have similar items bundled together (metal with metal, wood with wood etc.). This creates efficiency 

  • All items must be sitting at your lot line.
  • Derelict vehicles and tires are not picked up by the township.
  • Tipping fee exemption does not apply to the disposal of derelict buildings or commercial operations.
  • Refrigerators and freezers will be picked up only if freon has been removed and the appliances have been tagged by a qualified person.

The “RECYCLE YOUR ELECTRONICS” bin is still available for any electronics you may wish to drop off.

REMINDER: 
Hold on to all your hazardous waste items and save for our 
Annual Hazardous Waste Collection Day
