Arena

The Township of Hornepayne offers a variety of winter and summer recreation programs at our arena. Each season runs from (approximately):

• May 1st to October 1st - Summer Season
• November 1st to April 30th - Winter Season 

Summer program

The summer program runs from May 6th to September 30th, 2024. 

The the following sports are being offered for the summer program:

Curling Club Ice Surface - Mixed Sports:

• Pickle Ball 
• Badminton
• Table Tennis

Ice Hockey Surface: 

• Roller Skating/Blading
• Ball Hockey
• Soccer

Rules

• Township is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
• Township shall assume no responsibility for any property placed on, or in, its facilities and/or grounds and is released from any and all liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or property that may be sustained by the use or occupancy of the facility.
• Children under ten (10) years must be supervised by a guardian over sixteen (16) years of age.
• No person shall use profanity, threaten, or intimidate another person in a physical or verbal manner.
• Fighting is strictly prohibited.
• Smoking is not permitted. This includes tobacco, marijuana, and smokeless tobacco.
• No illegal drugs may be brought into the facility.
• No person under the influence of illegal drugs will be allowed in the premises.
• Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the facility.
• Chewing gum is prohibited in the facility.
• No glass containers are allowed in the facility.
• No person shall engage in conduct infringing upon the rights of other participants.
• Appropriate attire should be worn at all times.
• All stick play is reserved for the playing surface and is not permitted anywhere else in the facility.
• Please follow the rules of the games.

What do I need to bring? 

You must bring your own equipment and protective gear (if necessary) for: 

• Roller Skating/Blading
• Ball Hockey

NOTE:
*Helmets are mandatory for ages 4 to 15 
*Helmets are recommended for ages 16 +

Equipment is provided by the Township for the following: 

• Pickle Ball
• Badminton
• Table Tennis
• Soccer
• Ball Hockey (nets only)

Please be respectful of the equipment. 

Buy a pass

Day, monthly and season passes are available at the arena and must be paid prior to participating in any sport. Debit, credit and cash are accepted. All prices include HST. 

*Full-Time Students 18+ will be required to provide a Student ID Card.
*Senior’s rate applies to 55 years and over. 

Bulk discount pricing 

Bulk discount pricing of 10% off applies when purchasing 5 to 8 passes at the same time of same pass type (ie. 5 day passes, any age). Contact us for full details.
