Notice - Special Meeting of Council - Tuesday, July 21, 2026

A special meeting of Council is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of the special meeting is for Council to further discuss matters arising from the Closed Session held on July 16, 2026, and to consider certain time-sensitive matters in advance of Nomination Day and the potential commencement of the Restricted Acts Period under the Municipal Act, 2001.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Please Respect Road Closed Signs

We ask all residents and visitors to stop driving through Road Closed signs and entering work zones while road construction is underway.

When paving equipment and crews are actively working, the road is closed for everyone's safety. Driving through these areas puts construction workers, equipment operators, and motorists at serious risk of injury.

In addition, driving on freshly placed asphalt before it has properly cooled and cured can:

Damage the new pavement and create ruts, marks, and uneven surfaces.

Reduce the quality and lifespan of the road.

Result in costly repairs and project delays.

Road closures are in place for a reason. Please follow all posted signs, barricades, and directions from construction personnel. Your cooperation helps keep everyone safe and ensures the new roadway is completed properly.

You must get a fire permit if you wish to have an open-air fire between April 1st and October 31st of each year.
